It's been a crazy, overwhelming past few weeks.
Long story short, boyfriend was in the hospital for a couple of weeks(a chaotic and frustrating experience. I was so angry some of the time with staff I thought I would have a stroke.) where he had
a couple of surgeries. Since his release we've had a wound care nurse coming to the
house 3 times a week. We go to the wound care clinic once a week, and to the hospital daily for IV antibiotics. We will continue to go to the hospital daily for another month for IV antibiotics.
Son sold his condo. He is going to buy a house when he finds the one he wants. In the mean time he is going to stay with his brother. He has been bringing stuff here to store, tons of stuff...................as he was bringing stuff here to store, daughter was busy moving out to her new apartment. And to add to the stress, even though it was a good thing, boyfriends son and daughter-in-law were here from Colorado to visit. They left last night.
We are exhausted.
Somewhere in all the above I went with son to pick out a headstone for his deceased wife. I had promised him I would when he was ready.
Unlike me, he is very stoic, and for whatever reason his stoicism makes my heart ache even more for him.
We got it done though. He did good.
Weeping, my beautiful, Siamese, cat was struck by a car last week. We took her to the emergency room where she passed away several hours later. Her death is what busted the dam. I cried for 3 days. So did boyfriend.
Our hearts are broken.

R.I.P. my furry ball of sweetness and joy. We love and miss you.
