monday

So I closed on my house this past Friday.
The buyer is a first time home buyer. I'd say he was 22-27 years old. He was a nice, polite guy. His parents were there I guess for support. I was happy to have him as the buyer. I hope he takes care of the place. He agreed to contact me if ever he replaces the driveway so that I can get the time capsule I have buried there. :O)
I text all my adult children to let them know the house is officially not ours anymore. Because I am a neurotic mess I worried that one of them would enter the house not knowing it was sold and they'd get shot or something.......
SO the night of the selling of our house daughter and I drove by it  that night to see if the new buyer was staying there that first night.
It was dark outside and he had the living and dining room lights on..........we could see in and he was in the dining room working..............and then he went to the living room window and looked out at us stalking him looking in. Hopefully he thought it was just a car in the turn around, turning around.

The morning of the closing I woke to boyfriend calling out my name. "Sandra" is what he said clear as could be. Was it a dream? It was so real, and it felt so good to my heart.

I did a 12 hour shift yesterday. The census is low. It was an easy day for the most part. I wonder what is going on that the census is so low. It's never been like this before, ever
. I have to wonder if maybe the place will be shutting down.
I sure hope not.
