Went shopping yesterday and bought 2 Boston ferns, 2 Burning bushes, mini rose bush, seeds for tomatoes, banana peppers, eggplant, bell peppers, pumpkin, cantalope, cabbage, garlic, and other veggies that I can't remember and a bunch of different flowers. Boyfriend helped me to move 2 little bushes that aren't doing so well to the backyard and we planted the burning bushes in their place. I trimmed my neighbors hedge that's on the property border since he never does, fixed some falling lattus, hung my ferns, and cut the side yard.
Today I'm going to plant the seeds and rose bush.
The new puppy is doing well. I took him to the vet yesterday for his first check up. He weighs 6.5 lbs., doesn't have worms but will be treated for them just in case cause the vet said they usually get them from their mom, or are born with them, or something like that............his right ear is a little infected. The vet said cleaning it would take care of the problem, and so he did and he told me to clean it every week or so..............he said Bassetts are prone to infection in the ear because their large ears don't allow for air................and I'm guessing it doesn't help that her ear floats in her water bowl when she drinks. She's a cute pup with a sweet and laid back type personality.
My mammogram was normal. Yay! There's always a little bit of fear while waiting for the reults.....
Our census at work is at an all time low, and I'm guessing more cuts will be made. I know that in the long run whether or not I lose my job, things will work out.........but I am starting to get a little nervous.
My son has completed his first year of college minus 1 paper that he has completed and will turn in on Monday. Yay! He hates it but is going to stick it out.
