wednesday

Daughter and I hung out today.
We went shopping and out to lunch.
We were both in a playful mood, so it was a day full of laughing and joking around. I loved every minute of it!

You two seem to enjoy hanging out together and shopping a lot. Maybe you should take a second job to pay for it all.

Billy Billy Billy.......I have one credit card. My balance on that card is zero.
I save money.
I invest money.
I paid daughters college tuition today without the help from grants, scholarships, student loans, or her father.
Son will have his degree soon. We had a little scholarship money, a small student loan that's already been paid off, by son, .....and we didn't use grant money because I don't think they like giving grants to white people.......and again, no help from his father.
I'm not rich. Far from it.
But I don't need a second job to pay for frivolous spending. Because i'm not frivolous when it comes to spending.
Some of the time when we shop, we're just looking and dreaming out loud with each other. It's fun. And some of the time we actually spend.....when it's something I've planned for....and that's fun too!
By the way, I'd move into a tiny, one bedroom apartment, and make it my castle, before I'd take a second job!

The way things are going, you may have to. But your first job must pay pretty well compared to what many make.

As I recall, you are a nurse or something like that.

Katie just got a job at the hospital as a surgical nurse, 26 years old and her starting wage is 29 bucks an hour.

Hell, twice as much as a lot of folks here make, I never did make that kind of money as a master mechanic.
