I often wonder if my mom, while raising me and my sisters, was allowed to work outside of the home. I sometimes think dad wouldn't allow it. I'm not sure.
I just think she would have been happier
if she hadn't been a stay at home mom raising 5 children with very little help, other than financially, from my dad.
I mean I know mom loved us but I don't think being at home everyday with five children was enough for her. And then when dad would come home in the evening after work she had to wait on him.
I think the power in her and dads relationship would have been more balanced if mom had worked................and maybe that's why he wouldn't allow it.
I kind of remember there being a rift between the two of them while mom was working on her degree. I wonder if dad felt threatened by mom going to school, thus the rift.
I hope not.

Got me, my parents both worked but that fact didn't really benefit us kids, we was just here cuz they really liked to screw each other. My wife went to work after the kids started going to school, it helped us get a nicer home but I still liked the first home better.
do you ever see your siblings, billy?
Spent some time with #1 daughter before moving to Texas. The other two live farther away.
I know, I remember..................I meant your brothers and sisters.
