I don't want to be a nurse anymore.
That's what I concluded today.
I meant it.
So I said to myself, "Self, what do you want to do to support yourself,
and your daughter?
For 3 or 4 years I've given a lot of thought to what I might want to do other than nursing. I didn't have a realistic answer.
Today it came to me. I want to be a Barber.
Of course I need to do a little research. But I really think it's what I want to do.
I feel happy and relieved.
I'm off for the next 3 days.
I need to get some more canvas so I can paint.
It's what I want to spend some time doing. It's fun and relaxing.
I'm not used to working 13 hour days anymore. I'm wiped out........going to shower and go to bed.

Jane we have all had the same feeling regarding our employment at one time or another. I sure appreciate the work you and others like you do for us when we are bad off. I've been a service manager trying to manage 5 adults who act like children most of the time for years. Some days it gets to be too much. Talking about painting, I love to watch Bob Ross do his 30 minute painting and have always wished I could do something like that. The only thing I have been successful at is miniature log cabins and wooden board games. It is relaxing and necessary sometimes. I have a blog at http://odielangley.blogspot.com and email at odie@qualityofficeequipmentinc.com
I'd like to see your log cabins! Maybe someday you'll post pictures of them.
